I've had a look around this forum and on the internet and couldn't find an answer but apologies if this is common knonwledge.
Basically my Nokia e5 phone took a serious blow when my favourite tennis player lost a crucial point and I threw it at a wall and went completely kaput. I figured that my messages were lost for ever but after some digging I found they're stored (or at least partly stored) on the functioning SD card in a the directory private\1000484b\Mail2 (I know this because there's a file in there called 'index' which when you open in notepad you get message fragments interspersed with gibberish).
My question is how can I get these into a readable format? Is my only hope to get another phone that uses the S60 operating system and copy and paste the files into the same directory on that phone? Or is there a reader out there? Or is there perhaps an emulator of the S60 OS for windows (I doubt this!)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
